Press the spring-loaded plunger to open up the moving jaw, and release to hold the tool on the workpiece with the perfect amount of tension that keeps it from moving inadvertently and can be nudged into position. Operation is simple, requiring just three fingers. Once on your workpiece, you can mark all three faces at once. Perfect layout is the first step to perfect joinery - the hallmark of fine craftsmanship.
Two sizes of Straddle Squares for thick or thin workpieces
The 3/4 inch model is perfect for most furniture and casework, with a capacity of 1/4 to 3/4 inch. The larger version is perfect for larger furniture and construction framing with a capacity of 3/4 to 1-3/4 inches thick.
