Fast, precise, repeatable and intuitive
The Shaper Workstation is designed to streamline and expand upon Origin abilities, offering rapid, repeatable and precise fixing of a wide range of stock configurations. Even the most demanding projects are approachable and intuitive.
Workstation features a reusable tape field, easily adjustable shelf for small or difficult-to-fixture work-pieces, and intuitive indexing pins for alignment and registration. This greatly reduces setup time and makes it easier than ever to get cutting straight out of the box.
Adjustable shelf
The height-adjustable shelf allows small or difficult to hold workpieces to be positioned securely for accurate machining with Origin. The shelf ensures precise depth control and dead flat pockets.
Clamp ready
The two hold down clamps included with Workstation can be positioned anywhere in the grid of standard-sized T-slots in the vertical face.
The clamping face was designed with flexibility in mind, and affords the option of attaching custom jigs and fixtures for holding any type of workpiece.
Accurate mortise and tenons
Workstation can hold work vertically, horizontally, or at any angle from 0 to 45 degrees with the adjustable fence for repeatability. Tearout on tenons is virtually eliminated when milling on Workstation, and shoulders are reliably flat for invisible joints.
Box joints
Clean and accurate box joints are easy with Origin and Workstation. Workstation ensures fast and reliable 90 degree positioning, and Origin's Box Joint Basic Extension makes layout foolproof.
