TSC 55 KS means cleaner cuts and longer runtime
Featuring Festool's advanced power electronics and brushless EC-TEC motor, Festool's latest generation of track saw takes full benefit of their new TBX 8 Tabless battery, providing equal or better performance than the previous generation saw. Festool's testing has indicated that the TSC 55 KS paired with TBX 8 Tabless Battery completes 31% more cuts per charge, though they note that performance varies by application.
Plus, when uses with specially designed grouped-tooth thin kerf (1.6 mm (1/16 inch)) saw blades, the TSC 55 KS produces high-quality cuts with greater efficiency and longer runtime.
Safety built into TSC 55 KSs
Equipped with the innovative sensor-based KickbackStop, the saw reacts in an instant, stopping the blade and protecting the workpiece and user from injury in the event of kickback.
Fast and precise depth settings on or off the guide rail
The stepped depth indicator provides clear and accurate parallax-free depth readings on or off the guide rail. The fine adjustment allows you to precisely adjust the depth as required for tasks such as dadoes, grooves and rabbets.
Festool's track saws are virtually dust-free
Whether using the TSC 55 KS with the redesigned dust bag (included) or a Bluetooth-activated dust extractor, Festool extraction captures dust at the source to keep the air, workpiece, bench and floor cleaner.
Redesigned slim motor housing
Completely redesigned, the new TSC 55 KS motor housing now sits completely within the guide rail, which helps prevent it from catching on clamps or material edges.
Transparent blade window or splinterguard
The clear blade window at the front of the saw provides a clear view of the cut while shielding you from chips and enhancing extraction. Swap it for the green splinterguard for flawless splinter-free cuts on the right side of the blade.
FastFix makes blade changes fast and easy
Active the FastFix lever in the track saws's handle to engage the spindle lock. Then, use the included hex key to remove the arbor bolt and change blades. Fast and simple, then back to work.
Integrated connectivity with Festool app
Monitor or check the status of battery charge, motor temperature, and KickbackStop status. The app also provides access to software updates to keep your saw operating at its peak.

The included Systainer provides protection and organization of the tool and components in the shop or on the move. Stackable, connectable, and lockable, the Systainers allow you to move all your tools together, easily.
