The UJK Tools Professional Woodworker’s Marking Square is built for precision, efficiency, and versatility in the workshop. Designed with engineering-level tolerances, it delivers exceptional accuracy for marking, measuring, and layout tasks, making it an essential tool for serious woodworkers who demand consistent, repeatable results.
UJK Professional Woodworker’s Marking Squares are a showcase of British quality
Manufactured entirely in the UK at UJK’s in-house facility, this square reflects decades of woodworking expertise. Each piece is meticulously CNC machined from high-grade aluminum and finished with a protective anodized layer exceeding 15 microns in thickness, ensuring long-term durability and resistance to wear. Engraved degree markings remain crisp and legible over time, even with frequent use.
Versatility and accuracy built into every UJK Marking Square
With a 250 millimetre blade length, this square offers excellent reach for larger workpieces while maintaining precise control. The integrated pivot point aligns with the clearly marked angle scale, allowing you to mark angles from 10 degrees to 90 degrees with confidence. A bevelled hypotenuse improves visibility when reading angle markings, making setup faster and more accurate.
Smarter layout using the UJK Professional Woodworker’s Marking Square
Designed to simplify marking tasks, the square features internal and external measurement scales for flexibility in different applications. Tapered marking holes spaced every 5 millimetres accept a standard pencil angle, enabling clean, consistent lines while maintaining true alignment. It also functions effectively as a scribing tool for straight, accurate layout lines along board edges.
UJK Professional Marking Squares are refined and full of useful features
Practicality extends to material handling, with stepped butts at 7.5 millimetres and 9 millimetres that make it easy to locate and mark the centre of common sheet materials such as 15 millimetre and 18 millimetre MDF. The square also includes two internal marking radii to help lay out and remove sharp corners cleanly, while reducing overall weight without compromising strength.
Adapted from the most useful features of quick and combination squares, this tool is equally suited for workshop setup and machine calibration. It can be used to check right angles, guide circular saw cuts, set bandsaws, measure router cutter heights, or assist with cabinetry and furniture construction.
