Mirka Marine Polishing Kit Galaxy MCA-MP*

Mirka's Marine Polishing Kit is built around a gel coat repair process that has been tested and proven. Available for use with 5 inch or 6 inch sanders. The kit contains all the abrasives, polishing pad, and microfibre cleaning cloths required, in a convenient Mirka carrying bag.

A Mirka DEROS with 5 millimetre stroke and polisher, or Festool Rotex multi-mode sander/polisher are recommended, but not included.

Mirka Marine Polishing Kit MCA-MP* is built for a simple and effective 6-step gel coat repair process

1. Use Mirka Galaxy 400 grit abrasive with a Mirka random orbit sander with 5 millimetre stroke to sand the area.
2. Switch to Mirka Galaxy 600 grit and resand the area.
3. Switch to Mirka Galaxy 800 grit and resand the area.
4. Attach the twisted wool pad to polisher, apply Mirka Polarshine 45 polishing compound, and polish the surface.
5. Attach the twisted wool yellow pad to polisher, apply Mirka Polarshine 10 polishing compound, and polish the surface.
6. Clean the polished area with a microfibre cleaning cloth.
