The Mafell Saw Blade KSB-FI 280 is designed for precise cutting of rigid and flexible insulating materials. Its carbide teeth are arranged in clusters, with vacuum-brazed carbide particles strategically bonded to the edge of the blade to sever fibres cleanly and accurately. This produces a fine cut that helps reduce the likelihood of blockages in vacuum channels, improves dust extraction, and leaves a clean cut edge.
The blade is suitable for cutting wood fibre insulating materials, plastic-derived rigid foam insulating materials, lathing, and wood wool panels. The carbide tooth clusters allow both sides of the blade to be used for cutting, while the self-sharpening carbide particles provide an exceptionally long service life. Reduced maintenance and cleaning requirements help improve efficiency during demanding insulation cutting applications.
