The Mafell KSS 40 is a precision 18V cordless circular saw engineered for accurate crosscutting and angled cuts in professional woodworking. Its compact, flat-faced design enables flush cuts against adjacent surfaces—ideal for trimming flooring and edge work where standard saws cannot reach. Featuring a 300mm cutting length and a +45° to -60° mitre range, the KSS 40 delivers repeatable accuracy with one-handed operation when paired with an adjustable guide rail. The saw cuts up to 40mm deep at 0° and 27mm at 45° with the rail, expanding to 42mm without it. A 0–45° bevel range adds versatility for compound cuts.
At just 3.6kg, this lightweight tool reduces fatigue on extended jobs. The included 24-tooth tungsten carbide blade handles clean crosscuts across solid wood and engineered materials. Compatible with CAS batteries from Mafell, Lamello, and Metabo, the KSS 40 integrates seamlessly into multi-brand cordless systems. This package includes the saw, T-MAX Systainer for transport and storage, parallel guide fence, Guide Track S, and dust bag. Batteries, charger, and Flexi-Guide FX 140 rail are sold separately.
