Mafell Arunda Milling Templates: precision and efficiency
At the core of the system are the Arunda jigs, one for the tenon and the other for the mortise. When paired with the powerful Mafell LO 65 Ec router and a special Arunda cutter, these jigs make it possible to produce high-quality joints quickly and accurately. Several models are available, with the right size chosen based on your most commonly used timber widths. The larger the joint, the stronger and more resistant it will be, making this system ideal for a range of structural applications.
Arunda Templates come in two classes for different applications
The Arunda system is available in two classes to suit different woodworking needs.
Class "N" features tilting fences that adjust from +50 to -50 degrees, providing flexibility for angled joints in complex timber framing projects.
Class "B" comes with fixed 90-degree fences, offering a straightforward solution for perpendicular joints with maximum stability and consistency.
This distinction allows users to choose the best option based on their specific applications, whether they require adaptability or precision in standard configurations.
Designed for speed and strength
The Mafell Arunda system is particularly well-suited for floor joists and rafters, whether the joints are perpendicular or angled. Its push-down dovetail assembly speeds up installation by eliminating the need to pull apart load-bearing beams to fit tenons. The double-cone self-tightening design ensures a secure and reliable fit, while the identical router bit setting for both mortise and tenon simplifies setup and operation. With a production speed of eight to eighteen joints per hour, it significantly enhances efficiency, making it a valuable asset for timber construction professionals.

Capable of handling timber widths from 40 to 300 millimetres (1 ¾ to 12 inches) and supporting loads of up to 2,100 kilograms (4,620 pounds), the Arunda system delivers exceptional strength and reliability.
