Description
The Lamello Cabineo 8, designed for centre panels 12 to 16 millimetres thick, is a one-piece fitting that is installed into a drilled or routed recess in the face of the workpiece. Since no edge drilling is required, machining for the hardware is greatly simplified and can be done with basic tools, or most CNC routers, including 3-axis and nesting machines.
The included brass insert nuts permit a stronger, wear-free connection in a wide range of materials. It is ideal for use when the thread cannot be cut directly into the workpiece, or to increase the strength at the joint.
For centre panels, the insert nut is hammered into the through hole, and Cabineo connectors can be screwed in from each side. Installs in an 8 millimetre hole.
STREAMLINED USE
The connectors come with a pre-installed screw for faster assembly - just install the connector into the panel with a mallet, align the screw with the adjacent surface, and tighten the screw with a ball-end hex key.
STRONG AND EFFICIENT
The Cabineo connector provides more clamping force than the standard cam-and-dowel fitting, with no protruding parts or pieces to lose.
COVER CAPS AVAILABLE
Cover caps in various colours are also available and can be clipped onto the Cabineo in seconds for a cleaner appearance. Cover caps fit both sizes of Cabineo connectors.
