Festool UG Underframe features a foldaway bottom plate
The bottom plate supports up to 176 pounds and recesses register positively with Systainer feet to prevent sliding. The closed handle at the other end provides a comfortable gripping point to control the hand cart. The bottom plate folds flat for transport, or for use as a work surface.
Work at two heights with folding legs
The cart on the ground provides a work surface just under 10 inches high, which is idea if you are working on or near the ground. By pulling out the legs, the table height increases to 26-1/4 inches to work in a standing position. At this height, the work surface can serve as a replacement for sawhorses, and the workpiece can be secure using any of the numerous clamping points.
