Stepless variable speed
Set the RPM anywhere between 4,500 and 8,500 RPM to best suit the task at hand.
Ergonomic design
The body shape and switch made the grinder comfortable to hold, and it runs smoothly with little vibration. The rear-mounted battery ensures a balanced tool, and is out of the way during cut-off operations.
EC-TEC motor
Festool's own brushless EC-TEC motor provides excellent power transfer. It is enclosed and brushless, so there is no motor maintenance required.
MMC Electronics enhance safety and control
The tool starts up smoothly, eliminating jolting and voltage spikes. Adjust the speed infinitely within the speed range to suit the material and application, and know that the pre-selected speed will remain constant even when load is applied. Built-in temperature control prevents overheating by switching the tool off when critical temperature is reached in order to prolong its lifespan. Electronics are cast for protection from dust.
18 volt
An 18-volt battery provides power, and the tool is compatible with slide-on 18-volt Festool batteries.
