This Systainer contains all the accessories available for the Festool Carvex Jigsaws to increase its versatility. All components can be quickly installed without any tools.
Guide Rail Adapter Base
Clamp this base into your Carvex to use along a Festool FS Guide Rail for perfectly straight cuts in either direction. Use a Carvex FSG jigsaw blade for best results, and cut depths up to 100 millimetres.
Trammel
Cut circles from 4-3/8 to 118-1/8 inches in diameter with the circle cutting attachment, which clips onto the Guide Rail Adapter Base. The extendable beam can quickly be adjusted and locked, and automatically rolls up for compact storage. Includes centre pin. Use with S 75/4K or S 50/1.4K scroll blades for best results.
Angled base
The bevelling base for Carvex jigsaws butterflies open and closed, allowing fine, stepless adjustment from +45 to -45 degrees. This makes it easy to cut inside or outside bevels. Also useful for coping and sculpting. Not compatible with dust collection chute.
Baseplates for various materials
Exchange the stock flat plastic base for the hard fibre base to reduce friction. It's the most general purpose base for the Carvex.
The dimpled base, with raised dots, makes the jigsaw glide over rough surfaces such as rough-cut lumber or other construction materials.
If you're cutting metal, switch to the steel base which is less likely to catch a burr and drag it across the workpiece and leave behind an ugly scratch.
Or, if you're cutting on a finished surface, equip the Carvex with the StickFix hook and loop base for attachment of soft felt pads.
