Centrotec shank is made to perform
The 1/4 inch hexagonal shank is compatible with any three-jaw chuck, but really shines when used with a Centrotec quick-change chuck. The Centrotec chuck provides a secure, wobble-free grip on the bit, and swapping bits is nearly instantaneous. Further, use of the Centrotec chuck reduces the tool's weight by half a pound, and overall length by nearly 1-1/2 inches. Also, the bit's hex shank engages directly with the drill spindle for optimum power transfer without slippage or marring to the shank.
