Built from the ground up as Mirka’s flagship dust extractor, the DEXOS M AFC combines advanced engineering with user-focused design to make every step of the sanding process simpler and more effective.
Smart power and precision control from the Mirka DEXOS 1217 M AFC
Powered by a durable, brushless electric motor, the DEXOS delivers impressively quiet performance and high suction power. Settings can be easily adjusted from the front control panel, which features a backlit display and buttons for:
- Bluetooth pairing
- Automatic filter cleaning toggle (frequency adjusted with the MyMirka app)
- Hose diameter setting, adjustable from 18 to 40 millimetres and controls the warning threshold for the airflow sensor. If using a tapered hose, set the diameter to the larger size
- Multifunction that is set to Push-To-Clean by default, but can be changed with the myMirka app

DEXOS Dust Extractors have two power outlets to save you from swapping plugs and changing settings
In addition to the outlet on the front of the extractor, there is a second one located under the lid. Each outlet can be individually configured for automatic filter cleaning (AFC), and suction level with the MyMirka app.

Designed for real-world efficiency, the compact 13‑kilogram DEXOS features a top handle and two additional handles on the front for carrying. The space-efficient extractor includes on-board storage for the supplied 4‑metre hose, plus a strap on the back to stow power cables. The sturdy top readily accepts Systainer tool boxes which connect with a robust draw latch.
The 17‑litre container allows the dust bag to be changed or removed without detaching storage boxes, and a foot-operated brake secures the unit during transport or when stationary.

Pair DEXOS with the Remote Control for maximum convenience and time-savings
Supplied with a strap to attach it to the end of the hose near the tool, the remote control allows manual control of the dust extractor, or AutoStart. When set to AutoStart, the internal vibration sensor detects when the tool - electric, battery, pneumatic, or hand-powered - is being used and triggers the dust extractor.
