Use Extension Shells on Cross Anchors to increase surface area for better pressure distribution and increased pull-out strength when used in weaker materials such as MDF and particleboard.
Components and Their Functions
Double‑Headed Bolts with Shells (SV‑DB, 16 pcs)
These are the central fasteners for flat panel connections. The double-headed bolts fit into the corresponding shells embedded in both panels, allowing you to pull them tightly together or disassemble as needed.
Half‑Shells (SV‑V, 32 pairs = 64 shells)
These “extension shells” are used with cross anchors (SV‑QA) to increase surface area and improve pressure distribution. They’re especially useful when working with weaker or porous materials such as MDF or particleboard—preventing the anchors from crushing the material.
Cross Anchors with screws (SV‑QA, 32 pcs)
These are used in conjunction with anchor bolts or double‑headed bolts. They seat one end of the bolt and tighten via screw action, securing the joint.
Expansion Anchors for permanent placement (SV‑SA, 32 pcs)
These provide a permanent connection option—not meant for knock‑down joints—but useful in cases where disassembly isn’t required.
Anchor Bolts and Shells for corner connections (SV‑AB, 32 pcs)
Designed specifically for corner (90°) connections, this kit includes anchor bolts and the corresponding shells that create a right-angle joint.
