Woodpeckers Engle Angle is a precision-machined mitre divider that automatically bisects angles for perfect mitre joints without math. It is based on the #30 Angle Divider patented by Stanley Tool Works in 1903, but features some improvements that reflect the differences in how we cut mitres today.

The tool works by pressing the linked stainless steel legs into a corner. The anodized aluminum body automatically bisects the angle for perfect mitres. It works with any inside angle from 30 to 180 degrees, and any angle from 180 to 85 degrees.

Woodpeckers Engle Angle is made for modern day woodworkers

Woodpeckers product designers adjusted the original design to work optimally with mitre saws. If your saw has a laser, you can use the Engle Angle to mark your cutline, then align it with your laser. If not, you'll be grateful for the redesigned handle.

To align the blade to the tool, first remove the linkage pin and fold the stainless steel leg and linking arm out of the way. Slide the Engle Angle up to the blade and swivel the mitre saw so the blade registers against the handle which Woodpeckers increased in thickness for precisely this reason.

Engle Angle is made with modern day materials and tooling

Precision-machined in Ohio in Woodpeckers' own manufacturing facility, the Engle Angle is made with tighter tolerances than the original. The larger body is made of anodized aircraft grade aluminum on CNC mills, while the other parts are stainless steel. Nylon washers protect the sliding joints and ensure smooth operation for years to come. A padded storage hanger is included.
